Yes… We’ve reopend our doors! We observe RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) and Museumvereniging (Museums Association) guidelines. In order to make sure you get to enjoy your visit in the comfort of safety, we have put in place a number of measures at the museum, although we would also ask you to act responsibly for the safety of other visitors and our members of staff. Please maintain a safe distance at all times.
Wearing a face mask is not mandatory;
Keep 1.5 meters distance to others at all times
Book a time slot for your visit, even if you already have a valid admission ticket;
Do not visit the museum if you or someone from your household has symptoms (like a cold);
At all times, maintain a one and a half metre distance from visitors who do not belong to your household;
Travel to the museum using your own transport as widely as possible.
Visits are by prior booking only. Book a time slot by time of arrival through our website. Once you are in, you are free to stay as long as you like.
Inside the museum, please observe the set itinerary which will take you to all rooms.
At the entrance of each room, you will find a sign specifying the maximum number of people allowed in that room at any one time.
At the entrance and at central locations in and around the museum, hand sanitiser and/or disinfectants are available to be used by visitors.
Physical touch points such as banisters, lift cage buttons, toilets, the ATM, touch screens and door knobs are cleaned several times a day.
All cash desks are fitted with a plexi screen.
Please leave your coat and bags in the car: we do not have cloakroom facilities.
The toilets are open and are extra thoroughly cleaned several times a day.
We have also deployed extra staff to help and guide visitors and to make sure everybody abides by the regulations.
The restaurant is currently closed. Outdoors underneath the awning, we have a snack vehicle and a churros food truck that sell food. The only accepted payment method is by debit or credit card (preferably contactless).
The consumption of food and drink inside the museum is allowed only on the long benches with a litter bin alongside.
The museum shop has temporarily been moved to the Armoury. Please note: visitors cannot enter the museum shop without a valid admission ticket.

The restaurant is currently closed. Food and drinks are available to be bought from several locations.
The consumption of food and drink is allowed outdoors or at the designated locations inside the museum. Inquire with our staff where to go.
No museum cards available from the cash desk for now. Order your museum card(s) online at museumkaart.nl.
Visitors are directed via the restaurant to EXIT the museum.
